This is a work in progress. I painted over an old piece that has been around for too long. That gives a good start to an Abstract.
I am fostering this little street girl. She has been living on the streets at a taco stand for the past month. I can't offer her daily tacos but it is nice to get her health up to speed, Pretty cute pup. Her name is Chuletas...pork chops...or Chula for short
I was finished with this one but it felt a little ho hum. I added some more warm and white
BARBARA CROMPTON human being extraordinaire. She leads fabulous hikes all around Banderas Bay (the 2nd largest Bay in North America!), connects so many fun and interesting people through her hikes, yoga classes, fund raisers and parties!
Each year I paint a painting of El Rio Cuale for a beautiful fund raiser that is held on March 5.
I will post more about that as the days roll forward. Here are previous posters. They all look alike. This year I did it from my head and it still looks about the same as the older ones. What do you think?
Look familiar? I know! These were my 2 previous posts. When I don't like a painting...I need to mess around with it. No need to look at the subject...just plaster paint on like frosting on a cake. PUMP IT UP!
Miles Davis would get Blue-er seeing this painting! I am painting these little guys fairly quickly with no corrections. My process presently is to get "in the mood' to make some Art that makes me sing.
