SURFACES

I seem to paint on 3 different painting surfaces. I use masonite for small pieces.

The other 2 surfaces I use are raw canvas, which I tack up on my large board, gesso and paint on the rough surface and store bought pre primed and stretched canvas which I generally paint over old paintings time and time again. When I have all 3 going on the same day...It feels wonderful

EVERYTHING IS PEACHY

Hadley MA has beautiful orchards. I picked these peaches 2 days ago

I plopped them on my kitchen table and painted away

SO FINE

and then made a peach pie.YUM

Isn't it weird when your painting looks like someone else painted it? I guess it is part of the deal ....letting yourself keep evolving and flowing along authentically, ready or not.
