THE RE VIEW

The commission I painted last week was to be the 4th of mine collected for a livingroom wall. The new painting, posted Feb 6,  was quite tight compared to the other 3. I wanted to be able to offer 2 choices.  This is the 2nd choice of The View they requested.
Would appreciate any critique

  1. Both paintings are gorgeous, Page. I really like this one -- love the bold colors and the way you've cropped it. Wow, it is big and bold! Love it!

  2. I agree with Linda. Both paintings are beautiful. I am having difficulty choosing between them, but I am favoring this one, too. It's gorgeous. I really love all of the interesting textures you've created. Great work!

  3. UGH! How could they possibly choose - they're both amazing!!! Different, but both so lively, so brilliant? Good luck to them - I think they should take both!

  5. WONDERFUL! They're both so vibrant and beautiful Page. This one I particularly like.... it makes me feel as if I'm right there, leaning out a window. I really think they should take them both too.....

  6. If I were to choose I would choose this one , because I love the colors and the light, it's gorgeous. The other one is beautiful too,but appeals less to me. But then again, taste is so subjective.

  7. Page...I would choose this one!! Although, the other one is beautiful, I love the added vertical lines and the subtle sky...it's a gorgeous piece!!

  8. Page i also love them both but think the other one has a more open composition and an airier feel to it. The one above does feel like your peering out a window admiring the view but the first one feels like you're standing on an a rooftop admiring the view. Just freer. It's all so subjective right. They're both gorgeous.

  9. Love it. Love the red. Love that you have a foreground, mid-ground and background. And, I like the drips. Awesome.
