Although this BLUE VASE and roses are a constant theme for my still lifes, It is always a challenge to make the painting look more interesting. I like what happened here. Reiteration
GLANCY GLASS
20x20
This vase was a gift by glass artist Michael Glancy in 1975. I treasure it
Simply stunning, just love the vibrant colors, and ease of this painting! I also admire the fact that it is 20 X 20, that is big, and you made it appear effortless!
Beautiful, bright and cheerful. Just the kind of painting you want to live with for years to come.
ReplyDeletePage, this just sparkles! Wonderful, lively painting.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous painting, Page! It really does sparkle. Great work!
ReplyDeleteI really like the contrast between the solid and translucent vases. Very very nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful vase, beautiful painting, beautiful story about it, too. I love the way the light coming through the vase and the water is portrayed.
ReplyDeleteThis one really knocks my socks off, Page. It's absolutely magical! You are amazing with your color and great style.
ReplyDeleteHi Page.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both Artist`s above. it`s beautiful. All the best Page.
Vic.
Beautifully painted...love the colors...
ReplyDeleteFantastic light. Again, love your palette. I often think 2 vases of flowers add so much to a painting, as opposed to just one vase. Lovely.
