Days of Wine and Roses

Days of Wine and Roses
30x24
The Rowley Gallery in Orleans MA seem to like the same old..so same old is on my agenda for a while .
I cleaned this up a bit
I watched my nephew come over the finish line at the Boston Marathon yesterday. He finished 10 minutes before the bombs went off. We were all safe. What a sad day for Boston.

  1. These are beautifully painted, Page. I love the feeling of light and shadow that you captured in them both. Very beautiful.

I was so stunned and saddened by the events of yesterday. I am relieved to hear that you and your family are all well. You have been in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. Mes pensées vous rejoignent... Quel triste événement.

Deux très jolies oeuvres. J'aime beaucoup votre composition.
Toutefois votre petit paysage m'entraîne à la flânerie.
Des couleurs très harmonieuses et puissante à la fois.

    Gros bisous

  6. Page - I'm SO glad your nephew is safe. And I know, the galleries like the 'same old', but your same old is so beautiful... as is your 'new' - you can do both.

  8. Page, I'm so glad you and your nephew are safe. Glad for him that he finished as well. That must have been so exhilarating for him when he finished am I'm glad he got to experience that feeling. I'm sorry that he had to deal with the following events too, and I hope he's doing ok. Glad you're painting too. These are lovely.
