THE CREPE

I am getting back rolling in my Studio after traveling and being pre occupied with 'life'. You know that feeling....hard to get back into the groove. I have never painted on a black gessoed canvas before. I am in the midst of waiting for the painting to tell me what to do.! I did a little one to just touch the paints while waiting. The crepe is like ... cooking the first pancake...it takes a few starts to get a good one.
I am proud to be a part of "Pictures at an Exhibit" on April 12 at Boston Symphony Hall

  1. I like that analogy! It usually takes 3 or 4 crepes before I get it right. This looks like an exciting start! Can't wait to see the end result!

  4. Can you explain to me how the large wooden panel your canvas is attached to is held upright? Is it just leaning into the corner?
